First Degree of Doctor of Homoeopathia

Allentown Academy of Dr. Constantine Hering had been chartered by the Legislature of Pennsylvania, at an extra session held June 17, 1836, as “The North American Academy of the Homoeopathic Healing Art,” and was entitled to confer the degree of Doctor of Homoeopathia upon its graduates.
